How we are paid
After the initial consultation there are two ways of paying for our services.
- Fee based - We will provide you with a fixed price for any agreed work before we start. This means that you will not be charged more if the work takes us longer than we anticipate. Our invoice is payable within 30 days of the date of the invoice and may be subject to VAT
Or
- Commission based - Under this arrangement we agree to be remunerated by any commission generated through financial products which we recommend. We will always tell you about any commission we earn and compare this to the average payable in our industry.
If the commission payable is not sufficient to cover the agreed work we will agree a fee with you before you incur any charges.
For a more detailed explanation of the way we charge for our services please refer to our leaflet 'about our services and costs' which can viewed and downloaded from our legal information page.
Whether we take our remuneration by way of commission or fees will be a matter of discussion and agreement with you. No charges for fees will be made without prior notification in writing.
